For the first time in what feels like forever, I am sharing one of my sweetest senior’s collections from this fall! I spent this past season adventuring with so many talented young people that rocked it out in front of my camera and while I have been good about sharing a photo here and there on my Instagram and Facebook page, I thought I’d show all of you what a full senior shoot is all about!

I once had a mom tell me that one of the reasons that she loved her daughter’s senior photos by me so much was because it wasn’t just pretty pictures that I created. I captured her personality. She said she could see little facial expressions within my photos that she could date back to photos she had of her daughter from years and years ago. I thought that was the most incredible way to look at portraiture. Not just the art of taking a pretty photo or posing someone perfectly, but to freeze a moment in time that could explain exactly who they were. The best part? I’ve never put two sessions side by side and said, “These are similar.” Each session is so different, unique, and filled with its own personality. 

So after all of that mumbo jumbo, I thought I’d share with you Lizzy’s Senior session in Stillwater, one of my favorite places to shoot and spend my time! Her personality is larger than life and she has the kind of smile that can light up an entire room. So I thought sharing this session alongside what I had on my heart today would be the perfect pairing.
